I think for a long time now, Matt has not been so cool with his vampire friends, and this will be the last straw for him. Although, yes I’m aware Damon isn’t quite himself right now, but I’m sure Matt won’t see it that way. I don’t even blame Matt for wanting to do so since Damon was bang out of order and should never have done that to someone who was once a loyal friend. Now notice Matt’s reaction - he is devastated, right? Well, this probably only means one thing: he will get his revenge and hunt down Damon after what he did. Matty, I feel you, babes! #RIPTylerLockwood Sadly, Matt was too late in tracking down Ty and had to find his dead body in the trunk of a car. Luckily, Matt arrived in time to save his Dad, but that wasn’t the same for Tyler. Poor Matty was up against a Sybil-mind-controlled Damon who was on a quest to seek out a particular guy, who just happened to be Matty’s father. In the recent episode, Matt Donovan faced something no person should have to go through - finding your friend dead. Let’s discuss Matt Donovan possibly betraying the group in more detail: Something major happened at the end of last week’s episode, and I think that will finally be the breaking point for Matty to say “f**k it! I’m done.” Even though we have seen some character development from Matt before where he has distanced himself from his vampire buddies, I think if he turns on the group now, it will be final. Despite Matt always being on the vamps, witches, and other supe’s sides, I think (even more so now) that Matt will turn to the dark side and will no longer be willing to help out his supernatural friends. Matty has been representing the humans ever since season 1 and is still doing so in present day. TVD fam, it’s time to discuss our favorite human on the show, Matt Donovan.
